As our world continues to change, the Museum is a place that gives perspective across history, culture, science and art. To visit the Museum is to understand that everything is connected; past, present and future.
Yes, the Museum receives the majority of funding through the state budget BUT, as you can imagine, there is no "extras" included in that budget. The Foundation, through corporate donations, and individual gifts, is able to ensure that those "extras" receive the necessary funding.
The Foundation's mission is to support the collections, exhibitions and programs of the New Jersey State Museum through advocacy, fundraising, promotion and volunteerism.
