As our world continues to change, the Museum provides perspective on history, culture, science, and art. To visit the Museum is to understand that everything is connected: past, present, and future.
Yes, the Museum receives the majority of funding through the state budget, but, as you can imagine, there are no "extras" included in that budget. The Foundation, through corporate donations and individual gifts, is able to ensure that those "extras" receive the necessary funding.
The Foundation's mission is to support the New Jersey State Museum's collections, exhibitions, and programs through advocacy, fundraising, promotion, and volunteerism.
When you make a gift, you acknowledge the museum's importance to the more than 150,000 visitors to our galleries, classrooms, planetarium, and virtual platforms each year.
