Join us on October 24 as we visit the WheatonArts and Cultural Center. See trip itinerary below.
WheatonArts, located in the heart of New Jersey's Pinelands is home to an incomparable collection of American glass. A docent-led tour of the Wheaton Art Museum galleries features famous makers such as Louis Comfort Tiffany and NJ's Durand factory, as well as contemporary glass artist Dale Chihuly. After the tour of the Museum we will experience a glass blowing presentation in The Glass Studio by some Wheaton's resident fellows, followed by demonstrations in the pottery and flameworks studios. There will be 45 minutes to explore the Wheaton Cultural Center on your own where you can walk the nature trail, revist the Museum of American Glass to explore the contemporary glass exhibition Emanation, or shop in one several village stores featuring glass by the Wheaton Arts fellows. A two-course lunch with complimentary wine at Andrea Trattoria Italiana is included and there will be ample time to explore the museum galleries and museum gift shop. Please contact us at (609) 394-5310 by October 17 if you have any dietary restrictions so we can ensure menu options are provided.
*Please note that this trip does not pick up at the Yardley Park and Ride due to ongoing construction and limited parking at this time.
