This New Jersey State Museum Shop exclusive tee features the Trenton Makes The World Takes Bridge and is a Museum Shop best seller!  The iconic bridge is synonymous with Trenton and its rich history of innovation, arts, culture and an important industrial city.  Open to traffic in 1806, the truss bridge delivers Bridge Street traffic across the Delaware River from Trenton, New Jersey to Morrisville, Pennsylvania.  Originally known as the Lower Trenton Toll Bridge, it became more commonly known as the Trenton Makes bridge after the neon sign was installed in 1935.  Today it is also known as the free bridge since tolls are no longer collected in either direction. In 2018 the sign underwent a major LED lighting upgrade. After 200 years the bridge is a shining example of Trenton's important past, present and future.

Using a photograph by artist Julian Kernes, the image is screen printed onto a high quality cotton tee at Aztec Graphics right here in Trenton, NJ.
